What FAT means in a Dream & Real Life

For years God has shown me that if you interpret what is going on with your physical body, it will often reveal what is also going on with you spiritually. Sometimes it will also indicate what is going on with the “BODY” of Christ.

This morning God confirmed this again! I had a dream and God showed me people who were over weight or heavy set…the “FAT” kind and not the P.H.A.T. kind! LOL – He told me to tell them that whatever goes on with their physical body is a manifestation of something spiritual. He told me to tell them being heavy represents that they need to “let go” of some things that are “WEIGHING” them down – things that are considered “WEIGHTY”. They need to let go of things like worries/concerns, hurts, anger, resentment, rejection, unmet expectations (waiting…or WEIGHTING on something), injustice (when the WEIGHT on each side of the scales are not even), “HEAVY” burdens that are not theirs to carry, unforgiveness, sin (Hebrews 12:1), etc. Heavy SET may also reveal a “mind SET”.

I have the realization in the dream that’s why I’m heavier than I normally am (in real life), and I need to lose weight and “let go” of some things, too. God showed me mine had to do with carrying burdens that were not mine to carry and letting go of unmet expectations of the past where people had let me down. I was also made aware that I was weary of waiting (WEIGHTing) for some things to come to pass (Habakkuk 2:3 – listed below) and that I also have been WEIGHTing too long to share what He has given me…the book He told me I would write 13 years ago (which is now in process and making much progress!! yay!!).

There is a good interpretation for FAT in Scripture…the portion that belongs to the Lord. Fat, however, usually represents excess. I also want to state that there are ALWAYS exceptions to every interpretation. For instance, perhaps symbolically if someone is over weight, in the right context it could mean they are eating a lot of spiritual food (scripture) and that has caused them to be anointed (fat). On the other hand, perhaps they are just “puffed up” with a lot of knowledge from eating spiritual food and not disciplined enough to work through it (work out) and apply it (which would cause them to lose weight).

WANT TO LOSE SOME WEIGHT? Here’s your Dream Rx Prescription…take these and testify in the morning! 🙂

2 Corinthians 4:17, 18 ~ For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal “WEIGHT” of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. (emphasis added)

Hebrews 12:1, 2 ~ Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every “WEIGHT”, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (emphasis added)

DREAM Rx: WAIT ON THE LORD! (This type of wait has to do with hope and expectations being fulfilled) [Quotes and capitalization emphases added to the word wait].

Psalm 37:7-9 ~ Rest in the LORD, and “WAIT” patiently for him: Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; Do not fret—it only causes harm. For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who “WAIT” on the LORD, They shall inherit the earth.

Psalm 59:9 ~ I will “WAIT” for You, O You his Strength; For God is my defense.

Psalm 130:5 ~ I “WAIT” for the LORD, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope.

Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
